The Diocesan Convention in 2006 directed each parish to develop a disaster response plan. We complied by making sure we had as much contact information as possible for members of the parish. We also asked where you planned to go in the case of future evacuations. As we come to the beginning of the 2007 hurricane season, we want to update our records; especially your evacuation information. Please fill out the form below to assist us. 

In the case of future emergencies, please note that the Cathedral website (www.cccnola.org) will have the most up to date information. We also have kept the Cathedral Yahoo group active so that anyone with an e-mail address can communicate to all those who have joined. (Contact Canon Roberts for more information about this). 

In the event of future long-term evacuations, the kind people of St. James Baton Rouge have agreed to allow us to again set up temporary operations in their facilities. 

Finally, it is imperative that all adult members of this parish have a mobile phone with text messaging capability and learn to send and receive text messages. If this is a financial hardship, don’t hesitate to contact the Dean who has been given resources to confidentially assist in this area.
